Holy Cow!! We need a cow! Can you help?

It’s that time again, our kids are heading  back to school and to their school lunches.
Protein and fat are an essential part of every child’s health & development. In Africa both protein and fats are severely lacking in children’s limited diets.

At both of our schools we seek to feed the children each day, for some the best meal they get for some many days the only meal.

In an effort to increase the protein and fats in the children’s diet we need to add milk to their diet by adding cows milk to the children’s simple porridge each morning.

The need:
A) we need 2 cows at a total of $800 each cow ( with calf ) total just $1600
B) A pen at our Busoga school and repair of our existing pen in Wairaka= $2000
How you can help Please visit this link and consider a donation of what ever you would like to do, we are so grateful! Also perhaps share with your friends, business, school of clubs to consider making the school lunch of Ugandan children better!

What would be better than feeding children and perhaps having a cow named after your family, school, class or club.

Koi Koi Kids say HELLO!

Good morning everyone!  I had a few questions on doing videos for your sponsor child.  We recently equipped our team with iPads so Moses and Emma can easily do videos at any time. If you ever want to do a video to your child, please do!  Just send it to me, I will post it on our child sponsor site (, on your child’s section on that site), the same site you originally sponsored your child.

I post all our trip videos there for your enjoyment as well.  Once I post it there, I can let Moses and Emma know, when they can show it to your child, they will and then they can do a video from your child to you. Once I post it, I’ll email you so you can enjoy it!  This is one feature we have put into our sponsorship and web site for this purpose and allow you to see your child as they grow and how great they look as well as a chance for them to thank you during the year.

Thank you!!

Enjoy this video of the Koi Koi Kids saying Hello!

Last 2 Days...

Thursday, July 10 we went back to Busoga Junior School. There we taught more classes:
- Anatomy/Malaria/ Microscopy - Primary  6-7
 - Measurement – Primary 3
 - Craft – Primary 4
 - Coloring/Puzzles – Primary 1- 2

We also went to visit Pauline and Baby John, SOOOOO cute!  John is so happy to have his namesake here in Uganda!

We then went to the Koi Koi House to see them for the last time this trip.  Oh, how I hate those goodbyes!

Friday, July 11:
Today is our last day with our Ugandan Family. This is the hardest day of all.  We will go to Moses and Cecelia's for a late lunch and then to Wairaka to say goodbye for another year.
