Kagoma Gate Chess Program!

Hello all,

We want to share an incredible update on a most amazing program Ann Fantauzzi has been working on and installed in our Kagoma Gate school.  Working with Robert Katende who taught chess to Phiona Mutesi "The Queen of Katwe,”  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd3tRXfJE54 (Disney is making a movie about Phiona)

Thanks to Ann’s hard work and vision our children in Uganda’s poorest village are playing chess and learning all the skills that come with this amazing game.

Ann is also working with Marisa van der Merwe from South Africa (Mini Chess)  and  Gary Kasparov who is also behind this program. Of course Moses, Emma and the team doing their part to make this program grow.

In time we will also install this program in our Busoga primary school.   PLEASE enjoy these pictures.
