Sunday, July 6

Some of the team took 20 Kagoma Gate children to a nearby hotel to swim. These kids have never swam in their lives nor have they seen a pool. They had lunch at the hotel and spent a good part of the day having the best time of their lives.

In the morning, the rest of the team went to Kagoma Gate Anglican Church Services. They use one of the classrooms in the school for this purpose.  One of our own was baptized during the service which was so cool!  I think he's officially Ugandan now!

Moses, Kelly, Az and Bernard went to the Koi Koi House after church to go through and inventory all the wonderful supplies that all you wonderful folks donated. They are SO happy.  The children look great and are doing very well in school.  Moses sent a very loving message to the children from Mark, brought many tears! I tried to call Mark from the house but reception was very poor.  They love Poppa Mark so much.

Then as time allowed, we went into Jinja to eat and shop.    Was a good day.
